What Mel Says

Hello! I'm Mel, a traveler whose heart belongs to the charming landscapes and rich flavors of Italy. As someone who has visited 32 countries, I treasure the stories told through food, museums, and historical sites, which provide a deeper connection to the cultures I explore. Italy stands out as my favorite destination not just for its culinary excellence but also for its historical depth. Every corner of the country offers a new museum, ancient ruin, or a traditional eatery, making each visit a delightful blend of past and present. This year, I’m thrilled to add Brazil and the Galápagos Islands to my travel diary. Brazil’s vibrant culture promises an eclectic mix of modern art scenes and historic towns, while the Galápagos Islands offer a chance to reconnect with nature and delve into one of the world’s most unique ecological histories. Whether I’m savoring a new dish, wandering through a museum, or trekking in remote locations, my journeys are about more than just seeing—they’re about experiencing. Join me as I dive into the flavors, history, and hidden gems of the world.
